Course Expectations & Learning Approach
This course is designed for students enrolled in Algebra 1 during the Fall 2026 semester who are looking to strengthen their understanding of the material, stay ahead of their classroom instruction, and build confidence in solving algebraic problems. The course will closely follow a standard Algebra 1 curriculum while providing additional explanation, guided practice, and enrichment beyond what is typically possible in a classroom setting.
We will focus on:
Developing a strong conceptual understanding of Algebra 1 topics
Building confidence in solving multi-step algebraic problems
Strengthening logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills
Reinforcing classroom learning through guided practice
Preparing students for success in future mathematics courses, including Geometry and Algebra 2
Schedule:
Sep 5 - Dec 5 (Saturday Classes) OR Sep 6 - Dec 6 (Sunday Classes)
12 classes, 2 hour sessions.
No classes on Nov 21, 22nd and Nov 28, 29th (Thanksgiving weekends)
Session timing will be finalized based on participant preference

This course is taught by experienced mathematics educators with strong academic backgrounds and extensive teaching experience at both the high school and college levels.
